What is the ‘Art for Autism & Other Complex Disabilities’ fundraiser event?

Saturday, April 20, 2013 – 4D Interactive Education, an independent educational outreach organization from the Northeast, Ohio area hosted an all-day performing arts festival to benefit the C. A. R. E. Lab of Mentor High School, a newly-developed special needs program. ‘Art for Autism & Other Complex Disabilities’ was scheduled for Saturday, April 20th from 12:00p.m.-8:00 p.m. and took place at Mentor High School in Mentor (6477 Center Street) in the A-Wing (Southside of building). The C. A. R. E. Lab (Cardinal Adult Readiness Education) of Mentor High School is a comprehensive transition program for adult-aged high school students with autism and other complex disabilities preparing for independence in everyday life. Help the C. A. R. E. Lab raise money for educational, creative, practical and therapeutic tools for the classroom. The event included many chances to win cash and other prizes. There was  a 50/50 Raffle, Chinese Auction and prize giveaways.
What is 4D Interactive Education©?  
4D (IE) is an independent educational outreach organization in the Northeast, Ohio area which harnesses the power of art to give children and young adults a dynamic educational experience. Founded in 2010 by artist and educator, Brandon Stroud, 4D (IE) continues to assist educators and support important community endeavors. 4D (IE) does not receive any government funding nor are they funded or operated by any national education organization. 4D (IE) relies solely on contributions from individuals and local businesses.

4:30-5:00 p.m. - Ja' Vaughn (Michael Jackson Medley / Dance)

5:30-6:00 p.m. - Cleveland City Rhythm (Original Interactive Dance)

6:30-7:00 p.m.

7:30-8:00 p.m. - Jessica Drake / Brian Turk (Walrus and the Carpenter Interactive Performance Piece)
